On May 19, 2024, SAVAVET organized a Continuous Veterinary Education program on Small Animal Orthopedics at Chanakya BNR in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The program featured three informative sessions led by distinguished veterinary experts, providing valuable knowledge and practical insights for veterinary professionals.
The event began with Dr. Milind Hatekar, Founder of Pet Aid Small Animal Veterinary Clinic in Pune, delivering the first session on “Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management of Arthritis.” Dr. Hatekar discussed the latest diagnostic techniques and therapeutic approaches for managing arthritis in small animals, emphasizing the importance of early detection and comprehensive treatment plans.
In the second session, Dr. Kunal Dev Sharma, Managing Veterinary Surgeon at Max Vets in New Delhi, presented an in-depth exploration of “Hip Dysplasia in Details and Its Treatment with Surgical Alternatives.” Dr. Sharma’s session focused on the complexities of hip dysplasia, detailing various surgical options and their outcomes, offering practical guidance for effective clinical management.
The afternoon session featured Dr. Milind Hatekar once again, this time addressing “Patellar Dislocation: Diagnosis and New Treatment Options.” He highlighted the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of patellar dislocation, providing attendees with new perspectives and techniques to improve patient outcomes.
