On June 16, 2024, Savavet organized a highly informative Continuing Veterinary Education (CVE) program on Small Animal Orthopedics & Radiology at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kochi. The program featured an expert-led session by Dr. Sooryadas S, Associate Professor and Head of Veterinary Surgery & Radiology at the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Pookode, Wayanad, Kerala.

Dr. Sooryadas delivered an engaging lecture on “Hip Dysplasia – Navigating Surgical Options and Timing.” His presentation covered the pathophysiology of hip dysplasia, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and timely intervention. He discussed various surgical options available for treating hip dysplasia, emphasizing the criteria for selecting appropriate surgical techniques based on the severity of the condition and the age of the animal.
