SAVAVET, in collaboration with the Pet Practitioners Association, Bihar (PPAB), and FSAPAI, organized a significant seminar on “Continuous Veterinary Education in Small Animal Orthopedics & Radiology” at Hotel Chanakya, Patna on 5th May 2024.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Dr. Jitendra Prasad, President of PPAB, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. Dr. Jitender Mohindroo, Professor at GADVASU, Ludhiana, delivered an insightful presentation on the “Radiologist’s Approach to Musculoskeletal Diseases in Small Animals.” His expertise shed light on diagnostic strategies and treatment approaches for such conditions.

Post lunch Dr. L Ranganath, Director of the Institute of Wildlife Veterinary Research, Kodagu, took the stage to provide a comprehensive update on “Osteoarthritis in Companion Animals.” Dr. Ranganath’s talk offered valuable insights into the latest advancements in managing this common ailment in pets.

The seminar concluded with felicitations by Dr. Vimal Kumar, Secretary of PPAB.The event served as a platform for veterinarians to enhance their understanding of small animal orthopedics and radiology, fostering professional development and contributing to improved pet healthcare practices in Bihar.
