The SAVAVET Companion Animal (CA) Business proudly participated in the prestigious 9th NVF – Vetopia Congress, held from 28th to 30th November 2024, at the Hyatt Regency, Pune. This annual event brought together veterinarians and industry experts from across the nation to share knowledge and advance veterinary science.
As part of our commitment to fostering education and innovation in veterinary healthcare, the SAVAVET team successfully hosted the first-ever Breakfast Derm Symposium during the Congress. This one-of-a-kind symposium had key speakers – Dr. Umesh Kallahalli (Bengaluru), and Dr. Nagarajan Balasubramanian (Chennai).
The event drew an impressive crowd of over 200 veterinary professionals, marking it as one of the most attended sessions of the Congress.
The Derm Symposium featured distinguished speakers who shared their expertise across diverse topics:
- Dr. Umesh Kallahalli delivered a compelling presentation on the value of topical solutions in the management of skin diseases, emphasizing their practical applications in veterinary dermatology.
- Dr. Nagarajan Balasubramanian shed light on the critical role of skin barrier improvement in managing various dermatological conditions, highlighting its importance in maintaining overall skin health.
- Dr. Steven De Decker, University of London, UK, provided invaluable insights into performing neurological examinations, feline spinal diseases, and the use of MRI and CT in diagnosing spinal disorders.
The interactive sessions inspired dynamic discussions, providing veterinarians with valuable insights and practical approaches to elevate their clinical practice.
