The Division of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu, proudly hosted the 41st Annual Convention of the Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine (ISVMCON 2025) from February 17th to 19th, 2025. The National Conference centered around a timely theme: Futuristic Approach in Animal Health Care and Welfare through Specialty Medicine, Digital Health Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence.
This landmark event brought together esteemed veterinarians, researchers, and academics from across the country to discuss and explore the future of veterinary medicine. The scientific sessions covered a broad array of topics, including Farm Animal Infectious and Non-Infectious Medicine, Companion Animal Infectious and Non-Infectious Medicine, Canine Cardiology and Nephrology, Veterinary Dermatology, Wild/Zoo and Pack Animal Medicine, Avian Medicine, and Alternative and Complementary Medicine. Additionally, the ISVM Young Scientist Award Session and the Plenary Session were significant highlights of the conference.
ISVMCON 2025 provided an unparalleled platform for knowledge sharing, fostering innovation, and encouraging collaborative efforts in advancing animal health care and welfare. The incorporation of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health was especially inspiring, underscoring the transformative potential of veterinary science in the years to come.
